The annual LB Jam has outgrown Doug Jones (of Atlanta) 's yard and is moving to Nashville this year. For those who haven't been to this jam, take a look at some of the pics and videos here:

There will be 2 stages going friday saturday and sunday, starting at noon friday. stage 1 is performances, and stage 2 is open mic (which I will be
running for LB).

There will be several Nashville area name musicians attending, jamming, giving performances, and giving classes.

It will be about 30 miles from nashville on a farm with camping and nearby motels. Lunch and dinner will be provided Sat and Sun.

Here's the official announcement:

Here's a forum dedicated to discussing the jam:

This will be a LOT of fun !!!!!

That is the weekend of the IBMA Fan Fest in Nashville. If you get that far, be sure to come check out my guitars at the show :)

I'll try to get away, but it will have to be in the morning as I'll be running the open mic starting at noon each day. Was aware of the IBMA get together, I think several of the players at the jam will be attending both events.

Registered and ready to go. This will be the first Little Brother Jam I've attended but looking at the videos and a pics from previous jams, I think this is going to be a blast. The awesome guests that will be performing, the different workshops offered, the camping, the fall colors and a warm fire in the cool Tennessee night.., I'm stoked already.

Look forward to meeting you Marcus. New guy has to donate a high-end guitar to the cause. I am the "cause coordinator" and I feel the 812 will do nicely. Let me know where to meet you for the "donate the 812" ceremony.:D

I'm looking forward to this too..., but there could be a problem with the 812. See, when I first started guitar, the only guitar I could find was a solid purple left handed clunker. I strung it upside down and backwards (without knowing any better) and learned to play that way. Man, I loved that guitar. Too bad I left that beauty in some high grass and ran it over with my bush hog. Anyway, years later, after accepting a good deal on the 812, I immediately took it to the wood shed and turned the nut around, took the sissy looking pick guard off, strung it upside down and backwards and painted it purple. I then realized that this 812 was a right handed guitar so I had to reverse it backwards again. Finally it looks and plays like it should, but be warned, there have been some adverse reactions to my customized guitar. I'll bring it along and will be looking for the next new guy who just might donate the all-original mint L/H purple clunker I long for.

Tom, after seeing some of those guitars on your web site, I'm not sure my
Taylor could be classified as "high end",... but I'm still looking forward to it. Seven days and counting. :guitar:

I will be there on Sunday with a few of my guitars. Please stop by and say hello and try out a couple of experimental guitars I have been working on.
