Another "Bethany" night!!

Tonight I go once again (this is my second year and I go every month) to "Bethany" CT for a "Jam" that brings in hundreds of people to a private home.

If you are in the area, and want to know how to get to this great 'FREE' event, just do a Mapquest for 312 Litchfield Turnpike, Bethany, CT, or put that into your GPS and I'll see you there....

Free food, plenty of room, players of all ages and types (no Amps, please), and everything from Bluegrass to Blues in all the various rooms.

Walk in like you own the place; it starts AFTER 7:30 (please) and runs til the wee hours of the morning.

You will find professionals, as well as beginners, and I promise you a terrific time!!

That sounds like a lot of fun. If I were close by I'd try to drop by. Tonight I have a Jam I will be going to in Round Hill, VA that happens the last Friday of every month at the Round Hill Arts Center. There's quite a variety of music here, too. Irish, Bluegrass, and some of us that gravitate to whatever suits our fancy at the moment but mostly folk rock/country from the 50's, 60's and 70's with some blues thrown in for good measure. We also often go to the wee hours of the morning.
