San Diego area folks.......

I live in Oceanside and would REALLY like some people to play guitar with. There seems to be a strong SoCal group going up in the LA area.

I am looking for folks to form a San Diego area group, OR form a Carpool group to go to the current SoCal gatherings.

Hey.............Maybe if we went to see them a few times they would come down and see us:wink::wink:

You know, I think my guitar and I (and my wife, can't forget her!) would love a reason to travel down that way on occasion other than the annual drive to see the Padres beat my Dodgers. . . more music and new friends - what could be better?

It's not quite LA, but there is a folk jam every 4th Saturday (including this Saturday) at the Anaheim Community Center, at 5PM.

How's about a mid-August Saturday Potluck "Getting to Know Each Other" thing and we can go from there.......

Just sit around, play each others guitars and share songs and stories?????

Then, we will take it from there......

Wives and kids welcome, Otherwise NO HOLDS BARRED..........except let's keep it family oriented........No HARD LIQUOR..........Actually Nothing more than beer and wine...........

I think you need to post a new thread with a time and date. Ask a moderator to make it a sticky and let the fun begin. If I am free I will be there. Most Saturdays look good to me except the last one in September.
