Mid-Atlantic Sept Get together, maybe Baltimore???

I mentioned to the GF the other day that maybe we should host a mid-Atlantic type guit-together at her house about a mile away from the Hopkins campus in mid-Baltimore, maybe sometime in late September. I thought I would post on the Martin board too, any takers??? AGF's seem to be open mike types, MGF are more jammer types. But there are possibilities. Could be fun.

If I can get enough interest, we will host.

I have been going to gettogethers in DC. Baltimore is much closer for me. Unless there is a date conflict, I will be there.

I would be in. I could take the long way to Baltimore and stop in Fine Acoustics or Guitars of Pikesville on the way to make a super big guitar day of it. Hosted a couple and been to another. Fine times. Would put a vote in for a Saturday rather than Sunday. Could also host in the next month or two or down the road.

I was just wondering when the next get-together was going to be in the DC area. Get-togethers are always a blast. Depending on the date, I would also participate.

I might be interested depending on the date. I live in Lynchburg, VA and I have been watching the board for the DC area get together. I will keep watching this for further updates.

Hello All,

We've decided to host a guitargether on Saturday, September 27. I will announce more specific times, though generally it will be an afternoon type affair. The ones I've gone to in the past, well, I got there after many others and left before it was really over. Sayheyjeff, check your PM!!!

The general location is the 800 block of West University Parkway, Baltimore, 21218. I need to scout out some parking options. The offload is easy because there is a bus stop right in front of the house, but you can't stay there for more than a couple minutes with the flashers on. Even though the city bus does not run on weekends there, you may still get a ticket.

I would appreciate on RSVP by PM on the boards. If you aren't signed up on this board and don't want to, you can email me at jim@baltimorerunning.com, but it might get lost with the bulkmail.

I'd love a get together in the Baltimore area. I've been to one of the DC area ones, which was a great time, but since I'm in Carroll county, this would be a lot closer.

I'll check on the date and let you know in the next few days, but its likely that I would come.
