We're confirmed with the reservationist at the KARS Park in Merritt Island, FL for Sunday June 15th.
Is there a mod out there who can make this a sticky, please!?
Anyone want to suggest a time frame for the get-together? We have the facility available from 8 am to 10 PM, but many will be driving to and from distant cities, towns and farms????
We have pretty good pizza around the corner at Pop's Place, plus a frig to keep water, soda, beer and wine chilled (if that is important, yes?).
now, all we need to add is you!!!!....Time and other suggestions as well as RSVPs appreciated.
Tom B.

RSVP (1) for the Sharky man. I think a time frame like 11A to 7P would work well. I will be driving back-n-forth from Ft. Lauderdale, same day. Really looking fwrd. to this one!

I'll see if I can join the fun. Main problem is I'll be out of town this weekend, until Monday, so don't if my lovely wife will be able to do without me 2 Saturdays in a row. Will check back later.
Have fun!

I'll be there, friends. Looking forward to it.
Any tunes you'all like to play that I can get acquainted with for the occasion? I can noodle along pretty ably, but can whip up something actually presentable with a bit of warning.
Also, if I tote a guitar, would you be most interested in a Taylor GAKS, a Goodall RCJ, a Martin D18GE, or a Goodall Brazilian/Adirondack dreadnaught? Otherwise, I'll suffer through with my favorite Goodall of all time..... Tom's. Sigh... the sacrifices one makes.
Let me know.

I'd sure like to check out the Goodall Braz/Adi dread myself. Looks like any of the ones you have listed would be sweet to hear :)

I'm bringing my Martin 000-15, but not so much to play as to send home with Rick for a fret job at his favorite tech. Other than that, I know I'm bringing my King Cobras and a few Titleists.

I'll have along something "different" from what many of you have already seen. My little Hoffman 00 is the current cat's, well you know. Best all around and take out guitar I have ever had.
The other, well I had a request for the Rock, so we'll see about that.

Tad, you're supposed to bring all four guitars :D
Otherwise, I'd sure like to have a look at the Martin GE. But that's just me ;)

I don't think Tad's bringing any guitars...he's planning to monopolize my Goody ....I'm posting directions from Orlando International.....if you're coming up or down 95, turn east on SR 528 and follow these directions (beginning at #3) from there.
1:
Take the SR-528-TOLL E exit, EXIT 1A, toward COCOA/ KENNEDY SPACE CENTER.
0.3 mi
2:
Merge onto FL-528 E (Portions toll).
37.6 mi
3:
Take the SR-3 exit, EXIT 49, toward MERRITT ISLAND/ KENNEDY SPACE CENTER.
0.2 mi
4:
Turn LEFT onto FL-3 N/ COURTENAY PKWY N.
2.1 mi
5:
Turn RIGHT onto HALL RD E.
1.0 mi
6:
End at the entrance to KARS Park by the river (the end of Hall Road)....take a left and Note: There will be a guard after you turn to the left at the end of Hall Road...you need to tell him you're going to the TV room, and he'll direct you to keep going until you see the COuntry store sign, and the TV room is at the west (away from the river) end of the same wing that the Country store occupies.
We have a microwave, a frig, and the store right there, so it should be easy to keep ourselves hydrated and supplied.
See you all next weekend.

Oooooh, I am just loving those little guitars folks are making these days. I played a Collings mini-something-or-other at Fat Sound last month and, holy endpins, that thing was sweet!
My current fav Martin is the 0018V. Fat neck 'n all, I love the sound.
....and Tom is right, I do want to play his Goodall. I'm bringing a guitar like I would take a goat into the jungle to hunt lions. I'm taking Tom's guitar and running!!

We'll pass the hat and order in some pizza around lunchtime, plus I'm buying some waters to put in the frig...there are beers, waters, and sodas available at the Country Store....do we need anything else?

Yaknow Rick, were you of the female side of the species, I'd call you an exceedingly nasty name, which would garner a pile of ****'s on this forum.
So I won't :D
Stop teasin' us, you makin' me crasee :wild:

My monies on a mando! Now THAT would be a surprise.
BTW- Is it Sunday yet?

Maybe I should bring my mando and see how it sounds in someone's hands that can actually play it. It'll give me something to work towards.
I'll have the 000-15 so Rick can take it home, but I'm undecided about what else, the one to actually spend most of my time with. I'm about to leave for Hallandale to continue my search for THE new guitar. I don't know what direction this will go in, but it's been fun so far. If I find it by Saturday, it'll come with me.
