Sunfest this Friday night for some Tuna Feat (I think I got a VIP comp :D); weekend itself is free though ...

Met up w/ Sharky and his gal at Sunfest... we had some cold drinks and caught Hot Tuna, who were hot indeed. Jorma said he's been playing & touring w/ Jack Casady for fifty years now (!!!)

We had a couple 2min. sprinkles between bands, and next thing ya know Mark had bailed out. WIMP!! Ya missed a great (if too short) set by Little Feat (one encore, grumble grumble). What they did play was most excellent... those guys still really got it. Anyways Sharky, you can count on me to call you out publicly when you pull a stunt like that :evilgrin:

SO; this is a bump for another guit meet'n'eat. We can take turns flogging Sharky with a blue DR .058 string.

What about next weekend???

I just got home from a week hiding in the hills. Hunting stunk, but the trip was a great one anyway. Long story, but you can endure it when we finally get together.

I could possibly make next Sat. But Sun would be out for me.
After that, I could be OK up till the 30th, then I'll be gone for the weekend to the WSB races in Utah.

Let me know, and I "might" make that LONG drive south again.

I'm in NC now, but go home tomorrow. I'm OK for any weekend after Mother's Day, but next Saturday and Sunday are out for me... unless someone has scheduled something in my absence to try slipping it past me.

Actually, June looks much better for me. For that matter, once preschool is over, we go on short summer hours and I can leave the office around 3 PM, so even a weeknight jam might be possible for something close by.

By my count, a mid-FL meet up is due. I'm willing to make the drive (seeing as the road goes both ways). Next weekend might not be doable though... I forgot about Mother's Day. Don't anyone forget about that, it's not good for your health if you do :eek:

I've got concerts the next 2 weekends after Mom's Day (17th & 24th), but I might be able to swing some time if y'all are thinking about a Sunday afternoon jam. I'll stay tuned, as always.

BTW- Beach Bob- Kimmy & I caught the Little Feat set (part of it anyway) We moved over to stage left where the sound was alittle better, so I didn't ditch the show on account of a few rain drops bro! :D
