31st is definitely better for us. Grand-daughter graduates from nursing school on the 9th, so we'll still have company through the 10th.

We're scheduled to go to Lake Sam Rayburn to hunt petrified wood on May 10, but that's in the morning and we're usually through by noon. (We're all usually too tired from hauling stone to the trucks to do it all day.) Since Lake Houston is on the way back to Richmond we could stop by later in the afternoon, after 3pm probably. Hope it comes together. May 31 weekend we'll most likely be in Kerrville for the festival.

If its up to me, since I can't make the 31st of May, I'd choose the 10th of May. So vote now or forever hold your peace.

I voted for the 31st. But I also voted for June...just in case we might not have enough "pickers" going on the 31st. And from the looks of it, we have 14 people "committed"....

To many people were going to miss either the 10th or the 31st of May.
We need to get a count of how many people could attend on June 7th.

Please post the numbers of how many could attend on that date in the other thread.

Picking a date is the hardest thing to do in setting up a Get Together. We all have families and schedules, so the best we can do is try to find a date where the largest number of people can attend.
