TGF Florida Fun

Just got home from our first day of the FL gathering. We had a great time hanging out today just getting to know one another and enjoying the very perfect weather.

Highlights of the day were hearing our own Bagelsgirl giving us tips on "playing out". Lots of good info from her, and it was fun too. She treated us with a couple of songs, even playing my favorite Heart tune (to help Jennifer get her Heart education ;))
It was great! Lunch followed, famous O'Steen shrimp was delicious.

Tim, Tom and Ryan played some cool songs and we sang along (where we remembered the words!) DougL and his sweet wife Robin opened their beautiful facility to us and the club house became our own "venue room" We had some NICE Taylors there today, not one of them was less than stellar.

Tom's braz PS is LOUD!!! Tim, Doug and Ryan's 9's were all awesome. Everyone played each other's guitars, tons of fun!
Wishing you were all here. We will go into the Old Town tomorrow and hear Bagelsgirl at her gig as well as see the sights. This is just a chillin' time, plenty of time to just hang out... :D

The get together today was great. It was wonderful seeing everyone who attended. I knew that the TS guitars were beautiful from all of the pictures, but seeing and hearing the ones represented today was just incredible.

It was neat to be able just to sit around and get more acquainted with one another and play guitars. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. The weather was fabulous. Looking forward to tomorrow events.

That was very fun! Except that I had to leave and didn't get to hear everyone else play! That's not fair, maybe I can hang out more tomorrow evening.

It was fun seeing all the guitars and taking photos of them. We should have taken one of me in the middle of all of them, with my beat up 510ce, sobbing... (because I didn't go to Taylorstock..) Ha! Wish I had thought of it.

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow and having a nice dinner at the Columbia.

Well, I just got back to Lisa's house from the get together and they were still going at it when I left. The girls (who were left) went off for some ice cream and left the boys to play and had a ball talking about boys and their toys. (shhh...don't tell the boys what we did! haha!) :roll: I can't wait to get up in the morning to hang out with everyone again. I will be sure to come to the next FL gathering when they have it....if they still want me back. ;)

I almost don't want to leave. (Just kidding Lisa...I would never torture you with my presence for too long.) :lol:
