I just got word that Phil's Master and the Musician Tour will be in Elgin at Judson College on Friday, April 25th. Tix go on sale in a few days. Even if you don't like the genre that Philly has been classified in (CCM), this is a tour you will not want to miss. It will feature 6 musicians besides Phil, including Ric Hordinski, the original guitarist from Over the Rhine. It will be a great evening, and the tour is already getting some rave reviews. Phil doesn't tour with a band much anymore, so you would be well advised to catch this show.
