Hey, I'm trying to promote a new radio show, courtesy of the students at Loyola University of New Orleans. It's called Back Porch Blues and exists to bring light to the more obscure and forgotten maestros of the genre. I hope you will find it to be enjoyable, educational and engaging.

It is available to listen to, commercial free at 6PM on Thursdays at the following link:

Please note: As this is internet radio, I cannot guarantee any content broadcast from this station at any time other than 6PM on a Thursday will be work safe. Though we have very few rules or guidelines to follow, we intend to make our show as decent as possible.

Thanks guys, we hope to have a podcast available within the year. With that will come an archive of past shows, etc. However, this radio station is through my school and as such, it's very small and inefficient. I can't promise anything.

If we start getting a decent number of listeners consistently, I'm going to start bringing in local (New Orleans area) artists to perform live on the air. So it'll definitely worth a listen if you have the time.
