This will be of interest to members in the DC driving area.

Levine School of Music is having a Guitar Fest on Sunday March 16th.
http://www.levineschool.org/site/Calendar?view=Detail&id=100790

It starts actually on the evening of March 15th with a concert by Grammy Award winning instrumentalist David Russell (2005 Grammy Award for best instrumental soloist performance).

Then on Sunday, a day of guitar workshops (see the list at the link) including a workshop with David Russell.

The Levine School Northwest DC Campus is at 2801 Upton Street NW
Washington, DC 20008 (Upton at Massachusetts) and convenient to the metro.

Though it is not clear on the website, the workshop is open to non-students as well as students. The attendees will be a mix of young and old - should be fun.

I am not affiliated with Levine, nor paid to make this endorsement. This is a public service announcement for AGF members within traveling distance of DC. :)

Thanks Boone. Something to consider! I can't remember if that conflicts with SayHeyJeff's get together or not. Hopefully not.

Looks interesting to me too. The Levine School is very conveniently located about six blocks from Van Ness Metro. I walked it the other nite when I took Jim up on the invitation to sit in on Matt Dievendorf's class (which I am hoping to join if I canmake Friday evenings work.

Not a conflict. The gathering is this coming Saturday - February 23.
