Since J.R. deleted my post! I'm reposting... ;) (it was an accident hehe).
It's on the way!!
Steve called me today and teased me, of course. He said "man this Sitka top is gorgeous!" Then he said Engleman. Bastage! Teasing me like that. It's Redwood already! :D
Anyway, I did overnight DHL and it should be here before this time tomorrow!

I have my bosses' digicam sitting on my desk (which doesn't suck).
I'm going to take pictures before it even comes out of the case!
It just left Pheonix! :D

Congrats!!!!!
I see you're up watching yours travel also.....
Yep....doing the same thing here.....mine was last scanned in Louisville, KY, at 1:46 AM ..... gettin' close.....
In hindsight, I should have sent Michael in shipping a GPS with APRS to put in the box with it.....then just watch it on the map.....beeping it's way home......
Man! I sure hope that UPS truck doesn't explode on the way down from the airport.....or was that FedEx......]
Later.....

Congrats Jeffrey. Wow, it's been a long wait I'm sure, but it will be well worth it. Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Well Jeffrey ... I think Steve forgot you saw pictures of it in progress ... I guess I know now why I didn't see it at the Factory last Friday.
Hehe! I think you're on to something Rick. An APRS in every Taylor box would be a great innovation. We could track them then!

Hey Jeff, it's 10:20am in Texas right now. Got it yet???
Steve
Jeffrey,
Congratulations, I know this is a beautiful guitar. I was planning on going to Alamo to show mine to Tommy and Maurice on Saturday. If you're heading that way, let me know. I would love to see yours.

Not here yet, but it left San Antonio!
Should be soon! Arrggghhhh2134098210934)&#@)$(*@!sld!!
Anticipation is killing me. ;)
Art: I'm probably actually going to go down to Alamo today and visit Tommy.
I'll post on here later for sure if I do .:)

I got it!
And it's gorgeous! And I'm sitting at my desk playing it right now! :D
I'm too lazy to set up any webspace so I snapped some quick pics and sent them to J.R. :)
Hopefully he'll have a chance to post them soon. :)

Sweet! I'm looking forward to seeing those pics!
You know, if I'd known it was passing through Phoenix, I might have intercepted it ;)...
Oh wait, I was too busy playing mine. Never mind:roll:

Well I guess J.R. didn't get the pics or has been too busy, I know he's a busy guy. :)
Art: I went down to Alamo today to visit with Tommy. I told him that you were probably going to pass by on Saturday and he was really excited about it. Let me know what time if you do. :)
If anyone is really curious and wants to see my horrible photography, email me or catch me in AIM (sn is in my profile).
I'll be playing my guitar in the meantime... :D
Jeffrey,
I'd love to see the pics but I can't quite divine your e-mail addy as it is blocked :)
You can send me a pic of the new baby at tayg714@hotmail.com if you can pry your fingers off the neck long enough. If you can't, I sure won't fault you for that :D

Lisa,
You have mail. :)
W:eek:W!!!
I'd say it was worth the wait! What a gorgeous guitar! The sapwood line is way cool, love the headstock, the neck is sweet looking. But, that binding rocks!!! Beautiful is an understatement.
Congrats! I know you're happy with that one.

How could you tell I was so happy? Did I drool on my email again? Sorry! :D
Yes, I am extremely pleased. I have Bob, The Man Himself™, to thank for everything.
If he keeps letting us build guitars like these every few years, he can yank on my ponytail all he wants. :D (ed. see Ryan for photo)
Geesh, I thought that was my drool :D
Yea, I'd let BobT jerk my ponytail for one of those too :) I like the "man himself" trademark...clever.
I just showed my husband your photos, his response "Man! what is that binding? That guitar is gorgeous!"
I want an 810 LTD!

Heheheh!
I tell you what, I was equally as shocked at how flamed that binding is.
And something else that caught me, the curfing inside my guitar (where they glue the back/top) is mohagoney! I thought it was always spruce? Kind of caught me by surprise. :)
When the weather clears up I'll take some better pictures and get a few pics of that too. :)
