I'm suppose I'm (over)due to host... I forget whazup next weekend, other than going to the garlic fest on Friday night... the next weekend is President's day and I'm taking the family away for the weekend... so. How does Saturday Feb 23 look?

I have room for probably a half dozen at my fabulous white trash townhouse... definitely not as much room as Dennis or Rob, but heck as long as the weather holds it'll be comfy. I also got a grill and could do up burgers or whatever. And all the ice anyone would ever need, I know this guy ;). I'm in central West Palm, for those that didn't know.

I been angling for RickS or Tom Bondo to pipe up and do something in mid-Florida, involve those fellas by making em host? :D very subtle, I am ...

Sandy, fingers crossed on that condo! I don't envy anyone w/ a condo to sell down here, it's not a pretty sight.

But it would have to be small. We don't have a very big house. But I could re-arrange furniture and maybe get a half dozen in. As long as they behaved.

Now as for the directions, they do include "turn OFF the paved road".

For what it's worth I'd be happy to host. I'm in Boca, which is centrally located for some of you. Close to 95, easy to find, plenty of room. Sounds like Sunday is a better day for Rob and Dennis and is fine w/ me. Weekend of the 24th is good for me. Thoughts?

I'll let the south Fla gang decide on whether to come all the way up to New Smyrna or have a gathering farther south. Sharky has mailed about it, but so far he is the only one.
I could handle maybe a half dozen people here. Small house out in the "woods".

So, you guys that have the longest distance to drive decide.
We can always have one up this way later on, maybe even when Bondo is
available.

Amazingly, we may have a bidding war brewing between the Chicago buyer and a guy from Toronto whose friend's mom lives across the way from the condo. Were I not going to be on the road to Memphis on 2/18, I'd be down in Delray to show it to him. In retrospect, maybe I should have asked a little more. (I had forgotten how many Canadians love SE Florida, and how their dollar goes further these days).

The 24th looks OK for me. It's my granddaughter's birthday, but I don't see us going to NC until the following month for our grandson's birthday.

The 24th is okay by me too... I was just tossing a date out w/ suggesting the 23rd. I guess it's up to Jawbone and me to have a cage match and decide whose place?? I'm perfectly happy hosting, but I'm north of everyone except for Rick, who is also offering (not sure he can make it down here?). Jim's place in Boca will cut a 1/2hr drive time for the Broward and Dade folks.

Of course going to Rick's will involve significantly longer Sunday driving... and perhaps we should pick another date for a mid-FL meet, since Tom is tied up. I wanna look at his Taylors again :)

So.... Boca? WPB ? Either way works for me.

Well if I come down I have a pretty good drive. So if we start at 2 I won't be able to stay very late before having to head home. 5:30 Monday moring will come pretty darn early after that !

The earlier, the better for me. I'd rather leave Dade County early in the morning and get the drive over with, but not starting until 2 PM means I need directions to guitar stores in the vicinity of the jam to kill some time.

For those of you who have not been here, (thinking about sometime other than the 23rd or 24th), I have plenty of room for 20 people and also a somewhat dedicated guitar/computer room with recording software. We could lay some tracks for people who have ideas about a sound they want to capture.

Works for me on Sunday. I would have to be back in Miami too early on Saturday night because of a previous engagement to make it worth me participating on Saturday, but don't let that stop you if it works better for everyone else.
