Hi All:

I'm a Washington,DC-based performer and guitar teacher.
Though most known as a flatpicker, I started out as a fingerstylist
and my solo shows include a healthy dose of that as well (plus good
stories). 2007 marked my 30th year as a full-time musician.

I'm embarking on a big solo winter tour late next week (cf below),
and thought I'd post my itinerary here.

Hope to meet some of you next month.

Yours,

Hello Orrin,

Welcome to the forum. A few years ago I had the pleasure to see you with Jimmy Gaudreau in San Jose. I think I even wrote a review here at the time. I was introduced to you through Flatpicking Guitar Magazine. Glad you stopped by to introduce yourself.

Folks, if you like an entertaining show and some serious picking, check him out.

Orrin:

You understate yourself. We are honored by your prescence. I attended one of your seminars at Melodee Music in Sterling. Almost put my guitars on the market. Fortunately I did not and have tried to put some of your instruction to practice, and am a better guitar player for my time in your seminar.

Welcome. I hope the tour goes well.
