If anyone else is in the UK is within travelling distance of Chester, you may be interested in the Chester Folk Day on 23rd February:

It's organised by the same people who run the annual Chester Folk Festival in May. The fun starts at noon with a singaround and then a concert - including the fabulous Full House, who host the Chester Folk Club - and there's a session and a Ceilidh in the evening.
I'm definitely going - if anyone else is going, please let me know and perhaps we can meet up? :)
