Steve left a message on my phone last Thurs. He said "this is your dealer and I have something for you." Really, he said my 814c with Disneywood was in. Its on it's way and should be here Mon. I'll post pictures as soon as it comes and I figure how.

Well, I won't be the last either and got the call from Steve on Thursday, but I won't get mine until Wednesday. I guess it takes longer to get from CA to MO than to NC. You probably went the overnight right???????

I'm looking forward to pics.

I didn't go overnight because of the weekend. But I did pay for a quicker delivery. I think steve called it two day delivery. We were at the beach for the weekend and wouldn't be able to recieve it until monday anyway.

Frankly, it was worth every penny of the $700.00 for overnight shipping to get the guitar here to Chicago. Sure, the kids will be eating bologna for the next two months. but Hey -- I'm playing my guitar three days sooner!!!

By the way, this is the new term which is being used for some of the wood used on these guitars. Allow me to explain...

Ever see one of those Disney movies that has the type of animation where it almost looks real, but isn't? That's what these guitars are being made out of: wood from trees in Disney movies.

Mike Carter's guitar was the first to be described as such. Looking back, though, the Ziricote guitars fir the bill every bit as well. Dave Moore's comes to mind...
