Atlanta-area Get Togethers

Any jams or get-togethers in the Atlanta area? I saw a thread about one in Dahlonega, but it hasn't had a post in over a year.

I've been playing for a living-room only audience for so many years; it's probably time to get out and learn from others!

Hi Adam,

There are quite a few Atlanta-area AGF members, and we're due for another gathering of some sort. Personally, I won't be available to make one until mid-April, after I've recorded my next CD... but I'm sure you'll find several folks who would be interested in getting together sooner.

I'll see if I can contact a few people and start the ball rolling for a larger gathering in April or May, too.

Where in the Atlanta area are you located?

Anything cooking on an Atlanta area get together yet? Before I moved a bit south of there, I had talked with the owner of Musicians Warehouse in Bogart, just west of Athens. He was interested in hosting, and has a medium size gathering room in which he's hosted Doyle Dykes and others. Not exactly in Atlanta, but about 30 minutes from the east perimeter. Might be worth looking into - there's decent food nearby, and parking wouldn't be a problem. Might even talk the guy into providing a few freebies!

I would be interested in an Atlanta gathering. Bogart Musician's Warehouse would be great (that's where I bought my GA4 last August). I live in the Athens area and work in Kennesaw, so anywhere in Atlanta area is okay with me. (yes, I commute 82 miles, one way!)
