Have you heard anything about your TS guitar yet?

Mary,
I have been in MO on business since last Tuesday. I just flew back to FL today. (Late Sunday) I did receive my 914-C the day I left town. It is a beauty!!! I have had very little time to spend with it or take pictures. It is gorgeous and sounds awesome already. I can't wait to hear it after it opens up some! I have yet to hear anything on the 810-LTD. I will call the dealer where it was ordered tomorrow to get an update. By the way, your guitar is beautiful... Take care and thanks for checking on me...
Best Regards,
Doug L. :)

Mary,
Yes, I did. It was the first time I have used their "trade up" policy. Now you have me wondering... How did it look? I will certainly call Bob first thing tomorrow. Thanks for the info...
Best Regards,

Well, I thought it looked really beautiful ... nice straight grained cocobolo, no sapwood ... darker and browner than mine ... creamy white sitka top ... looked like the artist inlay on last year's 600s ... cocobolo headstock with what looked like the PS headstock inlay ... it came the same day mine did ... I'm pretty sure he said he called you to say he was shipping it out to you ... sorry, but I wasn't really paying attention to your guitar as I was a little preoccupied with something else :) ... I was so preoccupied with that something else that I forgot to ask what he had gotten in in the last two weeks since I last asked him. Besides, he just took it out briefly to check it out before sending it off to you.

Mary,
Thanks for the update! You are my "EYES" in Southern California! Thanks for all you have done for us in other parts of the country on these TS guitars. It has been a pleasure to see your pictures and updates. Your kindness and unselfesh reporting on the event's guitars has been most appreciated!
I will, once again, be anxiously awaiting my UPS driver!!!
Take care,
Doug L. :)

Well, I hope you love it ... too bad I didn't see it at the factory ... it would have been nice to get some pictures of that one ... didn't take a camera to Buffalo Brothers (after all, I was going there to bring home a guitar, not just look at one) ... what did you trade in for it?
Looking forward to hearing comprehensive reports from you on your guitars. :)

Mary,
I had a 2001 310-CE LTD (imbuia) that I traded. It was a very nice sounding guitar, but I decided to trade on the 810-LTD with the Cocobolo and new bracing. I hope the new one is nice. I spoke with Buffalo Bros. today and I should have it next Monday. This will be a long WEEK!!!
I promise to get a good description and pictures up on both when time allows me to. We are in our busiest part of the year at work and I have so little time. Take care...
Best Regards,
Doug L. :)

A whole week?! Boy, I'm glad I live closer. I wasn't even going to wait 18 hours to get it the next day. Maybe it will get there sooner ...
The new one looks very nice ... I don't know how it sounds though ... I'd never touch someone else's guitar without asking first ... though it would have been neat to compare mine with yours ... I do like the artist inlays ... I really liked your guitar ... master grade?

Mary,
Glad to hear your positive comments on my 810-LTD. It will make my week go by a little quicker. (I hope  )
I did not pay for the master grade cocobolo. However, I looked at all the Master grade that was available. The only difference I could see in what I selected and the master grade was the sapwood. I do not care for sapwood personally. I compared the wood I selected with master grade and it was almost identical to master grade minus the sapwood. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for with no up charge. I think I will be very pleased.
Maybe I should have air freighted this guitar??? I did on the first one knowing I would be out of town for a week and not able to sign for it. Oh well, next Monday will be here before I know it. I hope....
Best regards,
Doug L. :)
