Did anyone get one of these....?

I was just looking over the list of guitars ordered at TS and didn't see this kind of guitar. I was thinking about it and came up with what, for me, would have been a great TS guitar had I not wanted to get the 754ce.

-2000 spec 914c
-Redwood top
-Cindy inlay(of course)
-Maple binding

Of course, hand picking the wood for TWO guitars would've been fun, but too costly. I think Tim's guitar is this same spec but in a x12 body minus the maple binding. To me, this kind of 914c would be the pinnacle Taylor. Bob's favorite top, Taylor's signature inlay, their best EI rosewood, and their newest triumph, the gorgeous maple binding.

Actually mine is the 2002 (de-ornamented) spec. but the maple binding does look nice. :) I think Tom Bond's is closer to this tho' his is a x12 too.

Mike, this does sound like a very nice spec however.

The 900s I remember are mine obviously which has Cindy, but engelmann top and 2002 appointments

Doug L. got the same thing as me I thought...

Tbondo got a 912 redwood with Cindy I THINK....

TvKruzan had a 912 redwood with 2002 appointments...

David moore had 2000 appointments, redwood, but with ziricote and redwood...

I guess nobody got one like that, though all of us 900 buyers got a little of this and a little of that!

Actually Tim, I meant Tom:). That's one of the very few typo's that easily slip by my eye. I knew yours was also a 912c but I could never forget the "de-ornamented" comment you made then the fact that that's the inlay you got! It even got Uncle Bob to post about it! That was funny.......

Terry's back set was amazing........he obviously got to the 900RW table first.

Oh well, I guess I know what I'm going to get if there's ever another Taylorstock!

Hey Mike,

Mine is 2000 spec 912, cindy, etc. with rosewood binding, and Terry got to the table with me...we had two great sets of EI, and we both would have been happy either way(meaning his is beautiful too!)..I would have done koa binding if I'd have thought of it, but I definitely wanted the x12.
