The DVD came, and WOW

I just sat and watched the DVD. I had to keep remembering to close my mouth, since it kept hanging open every other minute. On one hand I missed something that may happen again(even if it does happen, you still have to say I should have gone the first time) and boy I would have been in SO MUCH troble when I got home and said "ah, yeah, I ordered a guitar."

One question was... what guitar had that gray looking wood? top,sides and back. It looked like a jumbo and the wood almost was like gray marble.

Without checking the DVD I will venture that you are looking at VFran's W65CE which is an all walnut guitar.

Wow, the raw wood looks a lot different from the finished guitar. It's almost like fired glaze, pastel colors before and bright bold color after.

Personally, I think JR has outdone himself with the DVD. I watched a good portion of it last night (the first time I've been able to sit down and watch it), and the one thing that kept going through my mind was how professional a job it was.

And JR, I heard an ugly rumor that "Stevezeppelin" was on there somewhere. Please, oh please, tell me that it's just a rumor, and that Gutch was just screwin' with me...

I got my DVD yesterday and stayed up late watching the whole thing. My wife just shook her head at me and went to bed.

Steve's version of Tree Top Flyer was great. "Stevezepplin" was even better though.:roll:

It's funny watching the DVD since I "know" all of the people that are on there. It's like watching all of my friends having fun without me. If there is ever another one, I will be there.
