I got my new 810-LTD Tuesday afternoon, just like UPS said. I got to go out last night and jam with a friend. He's a really good player, so it was nice to hear him tax the bounds of the 810. Let me say, it sounds awesome! The setup is perfect. The L.R. Baggs Dual Source also sounds quite nice, although I don't care much for the condenser mic. I have it almost all the way off.
Anyway, thanks to J.R., Bob Taylor, the folks at the Factory, And everybody who helped put this thing, "TaylorStock" together. I know I came in as a newbee, but I plan on staying for quite a while, or at least until there is another TaylorStock :ha: (or until you guys tell me to leave).
Oh Yeah, I'll try and get pictures up to show the detail of the guitar soon. I'm hoping to do some recording Tuesday night if it's quiet enough in the house.

I was pretty much a newbie myself at TS. This forum and that event sure changed my life!!:)
Looking forward to more pics and your review after you two have had some quality time together.

Rob! Congratulations!!!! Glad to hear that the guitar arrived safe and sound. That is some killer cocobolo. Nice choice, my friend. I can't wait to see pictures of the finished guitar. Hope you stick around... We've got to get together with Mike Aaron and Gutch and play some "Crystal Ball" and John Denver again. That was fun! :D

Your new guitar looks stunning! :) I'll bet it sounds fantasitc too! The grain on that rosewood is just amazing. I'd better stop before the "dred" ed TAS twists my mind again till all I can think of is how many ways it makes sense to get another Taylor NOW

Don't worry Gutch! Bob T is just so enamored of our guitars (and buddiesorg's) that he is keeping them around for a few more days so he can play with them!:)

Congrats Rob (from a fellow "newbie" at TS) - mine is supposed to be here tomorrow!
It's in Phoenix according to UPS, so I've only got a few more hours...

J.R., Dave, Rob,
I'm down. Give me a call! Nothin's more fun than an impromptu jam! Even if it is planned!
Seriously though, congratulations Rob. Awesome, beautiful guitar. I'm very happy for you. Now go play it!
