this thread is a tangent off the Ryan Cornerstone thread. thought it would be more appropriate in this area.

so, when would be a good time and who could host?

I vote maybe march sometime so there would be enough planning

Would love to attend. I can't volunteer to host (at the moment) - we've got quite a bit of work going on in the house. If that changes as we get closer, I'll let ya'll know.

I know it doesn't look like a good day for a drive today weather wise, but chances are pretty good that the weather will be better on Sat., Feb 23. Any of you folks in Richmond - central Va. want to come up to DC for the gathering at my place. The gathering we had at the house last time was really good and so was the one in January at Linda W's. There are about 20 people who have expressed interest in the DC gathering. Have plenty of room for the three of you (and more) in the Richmond gathering thread too. Its a nice group with (or I would not have wanted to host again or even participate!) and you will have the opportunity to see, hear and play some fine instruments. If you are interested, let me know.

If anyone is coming from the Blacksburg area up to Richmond... I would like a ride (Or blacksburg -> DC). It would be cool to meet some new people... though it's quite out of my way, and as a student right now I've been getting swamped with work to do.

I could always bring a little homework to do :)
