Just got off the phone with my dealer and he's headed out to FedEx to send me my guitar. He's going to be emailing me some pictures of it in a few hours. I'll post them as soon as I get them. He couldn't get over how beautiful it was and how good it sounded. He said that everyone in the store was floored. Yippie!!! That means I didn't get a dud. :roll: I've been staring at pictures of my raw maple all day waiting for his call. Soon I'll be staring at pictures of the finished guitar until it arrives around Tues. I think a day off of work is in order. :D

One down...one to go.

Congrats!

I seriously doubt any of the TS guitars will be "duds"...;)

Have fun with it - I'm still waiting for mine :(

I'm sure it will be beautiful!!!! After all you did pick out the wood. I'm still waiting to hear about my 814 LTD. Let us see pics as soon as you get it.

OMG!!!!!

My dealer just emailed me pictures of my guitar. It is now in the hands of FedEx. As soon as I throw up a page I'll put the link here. I think I'm going to die when I actually recieve it. WOW!!! :eek: :eek: :eek:

Isn't that insane quilt?!

Well, I just updated the page to include some "Before" pictures. This will give you an idea of what I was able to work with. I think the finish brought out the quilt VERY nicely. The raw maple was nice, but now that it's done I'm amazed. :D

My 810LTD should be shipping to my dealer sometime next week. I'll get it about 3 days after my dealer does. That will give me a little over a week to bond with my 654CE-LTD before my other baby arrives.

Okay, here I am being very smug. I'm just convinced I have the prettiest Taylorstock guitar. The I see some of those redwood tops and I think, "Maybe some are AS pretty as my guitar". Still, my guitar is tied for first as the prettiest........

Then I see Jennifer's 654 and ALL BETS ARE OFF!! Thanks for playing ladies and gentlemen, but we have a winner.

I can't imagine a more attractive instrument. WOW!!! I absolutely love the binding. I'm not a big fan of ivoroid binding which is my main beef about the 600 and 800 series (It's just an opinion, so no need to flame me:roll: ). Is that rosewood binding? And the bridge looks like cocobolo. The whole thing is just insanely beautiful!!

Congrats Jennifer. There's no way the 810 can look that good (or is there?).

That is soooooo sweeeeeet! Incredible! I love the blonde neck on the guitar. I'm really glad that they switched from mahogany on all the 600's. Congrats, Jen!
