2008 Newport Guitar Festival in Miami Beach

Wanted to share this with y'all. Stinks that it's right before tax time. Get those returns in early, so you'll have your refund $'s to play with.

Thanks for the heads up. Sounds like a great show with opportunity to see/play some great guitars.

I think the original promoters of the show had a great idea that could not succeed. The idea was to hold the show in Newport, RI the very same weekend that the Newport Folk festival was taking place. If you planned to attend the folk festival, it was virtually impossible to attend the guitar
festival and vice versa. I would have liked to see the festival remain in Newport, RI but on a differant date so I could attend the folk festivall as well as the Guitar festival. The chances of me getting to Miama in April is nill.
