new nere, what is taylorstock??

would someone please explain taylorstock to me? also, where can i get one of the custom order forms? not that i can afford one now anyway, i am a poor college student, but it is nice to drool over them. :)

Hey Jim; welcome! I think you'll find your stay here to be pretty enjoyable. If you need anything while you're here; you know, advice, suggestions, bootleg videos of your last "concert", just ask JR, your gracious host. But anywho...

Taylorstock was a gathering, of Taylor Guitar Forum folks, hosted by Taylor Guitars in August of this year. Taylor welcomed us with open arms, treated us to red carpet tours, seminars, and even allowed those who wanted to, to order custom guitars. The highlight of it all was that Bob Taylor was heavily involved in the entire weekend, leading up to assisting Forum members in picking the right wood for their custom guitars.

In truth, the whole crew down at Taylor went above and beyond what anyone here on the Forum expected.

It's been debated whether or not it should ever be repeated. Personally, I think it may well be, although I doubt it would be an annual event. There was simply too much planning that went into it to do it every year.

But stick around long enough, and you never know what might happen...
