I figured you'd like to see the pictures and share them with everyone. No use in me keeping the pictures all to myself.

Simply breathtaking. Gosh there's nothing like a beautiful guitar. Man I'm excited just looking at it. And how cool when you and Lisa get on stage together and play the twins !!! How dramatic. Love to you and Lisa

Beautiful, Cynthia, simply beautiful!

You know, these two 414s almost make me sorry I didn't choose a 455. Of course, I might have had to duke it out with Lisa or Cynthia for that ovangkol, and that might have been embarrassing for me. :D

Congratulations on a great guitar!

That one made me laugh, Chris! Yea for a few minutes that ovangkol table looked a little like the after Christmas sale at Dillards

Ron, you're so sweet, thanks for the kind words.

It's cool to have a best friend who loves guitars as much as you do.

Oh I almost forgot, do you guys think that line in CB's guitar is sapwood? What's the verdict. It's kind of blondish in the right light, too pretty!

Cynthia,

That is one BEAUTIFUL guitar!!! I bet it sounds as good as it looks...

Are your and Lisa's wood cut from the same tree? They sure have similar grain lines. Both are stunning guitars. I can't wait to see it in person. November is only around the corner...

Doug - It sure looks like our woods were cut from the same tree, but I am unsure if this is true. They are both beautiful guitars.

Chris - that is too funny. Lisa says that I was white knuckling my piece of wood after I found it.

Thanks for all the kind words. I am so happy with the guitar. The sound is truly amazing. After Lisa and I played this past Sunday people told us that they could tell a difference in sound (Ron, it is really cool having twin guitars and a best friend who shares the same passion for them).

It is really cool sharing all of our TS guitars with one another. I wish I could see every single one of them in person. I am looking forward to the Florida get together!

Jennifer, thanks again for posting the pics.

Awesome Cyn! Looks great just as we thought! Now maybe you guys won't be so afraid to spit on wood in the future!;) Remember that?

From my experience, it's tough owning an Ovangkol backed guitar. With the back so well flamed and colored, you want to show it off but have no way to do it while playing. So you end up puting back in the case REAL SLOW so people can get a good look at the back. Or, when people ask about the guitar, the first thing you'll do is flip it over. You guys will know what I mean real soon....................

Congrats again on a such a purty geetar!

I was just wondering the other day about that very thing. How could I play this guitar with the back side showing?? I haven't figured it out yet.

Hehehe Gutch that was funny  She'll love that one!

Ha! Mike, you should have seen her this past Sunday, positioning that stand strategically toward the congregation! I was jealous that my side of the platform doesn't allow me to do that

And yea, I remember spitting on the wood ;)

Then the color of my wood would be blue - blue moon.
