Okay -- So -- It's now been 10 weeks since T-Stock. 10 weeks since I last felt Cocobolo in my chubby little paws.
9 weeks since I placed my order formally for the new guitar...
8 weeks since I sold my LKSM (and several other things) to pay for the new guitar...
7 weeks since I began ingesting guitar picks...
6 weeks since I begun pinning pictures of raw Cocobolo up around my office...
5 weeks since my doctor advised me against ingesting guitar picks...
4 weeks since in progress pics were posted...
3 weeks since I received the TaylorStock video...
2.5 weeks since my wife told me to turn off the TV...
2 weeks since the first T-Stock guitars were delivered and pictures posted...
1.5 weeks since my wife put the mop and bucket next to my desk as a not-too-subtle hint to control my drooling...
1 week since Steve politely asked me to never call him again...
WHERE IS MY GUITAR?!?!?!?!?!

And a partridge in a pear tree.
It will be worth the wait, after all you are getting one right ????
Just relax and play the guitars you do have in the mean time.

I feel your pain Gutch X2. I'm still waiting for both of my guitars. No word on ETA. The last my dealer heard was approximately 30 days and that was 10 days ago (even though it feels like an eternity!)

Dave, Jenn, remember an earty TS guitar thread (prolly started by J.R.) that said that Taylor was planning on having production of all the guitars completed by a date certain (but don't hold them to it)?
Isn't that date like THIS WEEK as I recall?? Like THIS FRIDAY Oct 18th!!??!?!??!
Now if they didn't quite make that, doncha think that they will be pretty close to done by then and that you will have your (and more importantly I will have my) guitars easily by say . . . Halloween??
BTW why couldn't the witch have babies?? Cos her husband had a "hollow weenie!!" Ah, grade school! How I do NOT miss it!

Jenn -- It's gotta be twice as tough for you! And Joe, and Ian, and...
To all those who have yet to receive their big brown box, please consider my anguish = Your anguish...
Stay focused, stay focused, stay focused... :)

Yes it is hard, although I have had learned to be patient in buying, one of my previous purchases took three and a half month before I saw it. Not that that would happen with the Taylorstock guitars, that's for sure. Anywho the good news is Steve called me an one of then arrived last Thursday. YeeHaa..... it won't be long now! Come home to papa :)

I'm getting pretty antsy about mine too, but at least Mary had some great photos of the body to hold me over. :)

At least you weren't told it was done, shown pictures, only to have it sent away again. I never even got to hold it! I don't know which is worse. Not knowing, or knowing, then NOT knowing. I'm sure Steve is getting sick of hearing from me too, but, I'll be calling again on Wednesday (ready Steve?).
"Oh where, Oh where can our TS Guitars be!"

Yeah Rob, you did get this short end of the stick on that deal! Well, at least you have pictures to remember her by...:)

Think of Derek (Muzz76). He ordered a Beneteau and has been waiting close to a year.
For custom made guitars the Taylorstock guitars are being turned around very quickly. Patience Grasshopper, patience.

I can sure relate to this post! JW

Just over two months isn't that long ... I wait at least four months for a Goodall ... and I've waited ten months for a Taylor ... this wait is short ...

I am going CRAZY waiting for my Fall Limited 810
to come in! I am even getting philosophical and political
out of bordom which I ussually don't get involved in those
kind of theads. Just to juicy sometimes to resist!

But it's different when you ordered your guitars at the same time (and in many cases...before) everyone who already has recieved their's. That's what's frustrating...seeing everyone else rant and rave about how amazing their guitar(s) are and here some of us sit with nothing but a computer screen to stare at or pictures of our raw wood on our walls (I'm guilty of that). That's why we are going crazy. Not because 2 months is a long time to wait, even though it is in our relative opinion. If we were all getting Goodalls and everyone had to wait 4 months, then I wouldn't be so ancy. I hope this gives some more perspective to our agonizing pain. :p

Well, at least we have each other to "share pain" with ;)
I thought mine would be one of the easiest to complete since I barely made any modifications at all...but I guess my Cocobolo had to be treated and there must have been some tweaking with the thickness of my redwood top that Bob ordered and...
Maybe they're just being extra careful with mine - I saw some production pictures awhile ago...
OK maybe I'm just jealous that my friend's guitar already came in and mine didn't...
And another friend (who didn't go to TS) custom ordered a guitar after the TS guitars and his already came in...
Argh - at least most of you already have a Taylor!!
