Mrs. Bondo came up with a wonderful name for my new 912C.............Cinnamon Girl......I just finished playing the NY tune (drop d) and she likes it (that is, Cinnamon Girl makes melodious sounds playing Cinnamon Girl)

It is totally wonderful when our girls join us in our guitar joy. I'm happy for you that yours does. I'm sure you know mine does too !!! i also noticed that you're not smiling in any of the pictures....you have a dazed look on your face. I'm in awe of the beauty also....

Hey Joe,
"I wanta live with a Cinnamon girl,
I could be happy....." ... my fav "10 silver saxes, a bass with a bow, the drummer relaxes and waits between shows for his cinnamon girl"
Cisco, you are so right about getting support? encouragement? participation and it's a rare commodity for some. I took out the smiling pictures because I looked ever so more moronic......they were there! I was dazed and awed (and tingly all over)......a buddy of mine remarked that we're making a bunch of people jealous.....cest la vie

Tom, congratulations on the 812’s safe arrival. (Better experience than the last shipping adventure hehe) If the cinnamon girl should sound as good as she looks, then you have a sweet tasty treat in your hands there. Gota love the Cindy too. Well done! How do you like the sound as compared to the GA’s?
Tom,
Cinnamon girl is a true beauty :) You are a lucky guy! What a guitar :)

Joe,
I only knew cause I played it 4 or 5 times yesterday on the CGirl.........that song is an energy blast, and my 912C (no e yet...waiting to hear the passive version of the new Taylor pickup) just rocks out on it.....dropping the d gets some neat feedback kinda stuff going on in the bass, and the treble is ringing out clear.....the final chords are played on 5 slide to 7, and that last one hangs in the air forever....my daughter was just amazed..... and I am too....I thought this was going to be a sit in the corner, play for myself fingerstyle machine, but its more of a Rick Crider SUV.....able to leap tall mountains (amplified, I have no doubt it can hang in there with any thing.....)...and its delightful in the quiet mode....redwood is everything I hoped it would be, and more....playing Spanish ballad (second song I played, Terry -- After the Goldrush was first ---) the bass seems to be more noticeable (plucked every third time and sustained) and clear???? how's it do that???
Sorry that I don't have better tech music words, Ian, but I hope this conveys the answer somehow.
Thank you Bob Taylor for letting us have some of your special wood.....you've made all of us extremely happy, and we love you and your team for all you do for us.....

One of my favorite lyrics of all tiime. That song has one of the longest solos on one note of any song and still sounds freakin' amazing.
