Its here, its GORGEOUS, and it sounds better than I could have ever dreamed!!!
Being a dreadnought player always (this is my first non Dreadnought real guitar...) I have always been a little wary of claims that a GA might sound as big, but this one certainly does.
Here's a quick rundown on the specs for those unfamiliar with it...Im going to post pictures by noon...
914c no E
2002 specs (Ivoroid binding, gloss ebony headstock, ebony tuners)
Cindy Inlay fretboard and headstock
Special Cindy Bridge Inlay
Clear Pickguard
Start date of 9/18/02, finish date of 9/30/02

Ryan,
CONGRATULATIONS!!! What is the guitar's full serieasl number. Mine was also started on the 18th and completed on the 30th. In case you're interested it was the 60th guitar started that day, so my full serial number is: 20020918160
Enjoy that new beauty. Can't wait to see the photos.

I'm not going to have to hear about respecting my "elders" or listening to my "big brother" am I?
Very cool.
Incidentally, I finally got my photos up. Look at my thread from a couple of days ago to see where the pictures are posted.
CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOUR GUITAR!

Sorry for how much the pictures dont do this guitar justice...the weather outside today is HORRID, so the light is awful...when it gets nice im gonna go drive somewhere into the lovely vermont foliage and give my guitar a Rick Crider/JW-esque photo shoot :)
I really am glad I got the Cindy bridge inlay- I think it adds alot to the guitar!

Oh my.... what a lovely instrument. I'm not a big fan of the bridge inlay on the current 900 series, BUT I LOVE THE CINDY INLAY ON YOUR BRIDGE!!! What a great idea. Did you come up with that yourself? That's inspired. I never thought I would want a bridge inlay, but I wish I had put the Cindy bridge inlay on my guitar. Very cool.
The rosewood you selected is stunning. All of these guitars are just scary with their beauty. What a killer instrument.
Again, congratulations.

Hey lil bro! :D
Yeah, the Cindy bridge was my idea...though its not a custom design. Originally, I wanted to see if they could take the 5th fret inlay and put that on the bridge, and when I asked BT about it, he grabbed Pete Jr and said "dont we have a cindy for the bridge?" turns out they designed it, but never used it...
Bob drew it for me roughly on those wooden body shape cutouts (its probably still on there hahhahah) and I decided to go for it...I didnt know whether it would be "too much", but as it turns out, I love it and im so glad i popped for the extra little bit of cash to put it on!

Ryan,
Very, very, NICE!!! I like the added inlay on the bridge. I should have done this too. As far as I can tell they have not even started mine yet? Maybe I should call them and have it added.
All kidding aside, it is a stunning guitar. Looking at yours makes me want mine even more. I keep telling myself I must be patient. I am starting to run a little low in the old patience department however. Maybe I will get some news soon...
Best Regards,
Doug L. :)
