Received my guitar today!!

I got my 414ce today. I am completely thrilled. It is simply amazing. The back and sides are beautifully flamed and the Englemann top is perfect. Thanks again to Taylor. Thanks also to J.R., Mike A. and Lisa for helping me pick out the wood for my guitar. It is awesome - oh, I think I am being redundant.

I almost forgot - the sound is wonderful!! Went over to Lisa's today and we both played our TS guitars. Wow, what a rush. I didn't want to stop.

I am one happy camper. :D :ha:

Steve 314 - thanks so much for all of your help and for taking care of my shipping problem. Your a great guy.

Wha-HOO!! Congrats, Cyn! I'm glad it arrived without further incident.

BTW, I didn't want to mention it until you had your guitar safe and sound, but I once had a dulcimer shipped from TX to CA, and it went missing for three weeks before turning up in Michigan! Unfortunately (the part I thought would dim your hopes), the box had been crushed, so it went back to the builder.

Anyway, I'm happy that things turned out well. Now, where are the pictures? We want pictures!

Chris - thanks so much for not sharing that story until after I received my guitar. I actually had visions of something like that happening to my guitar. It's funny how our minds can imagine the worst case scenario. :eek: But, thankfully, it is here safe with me.

Congratulations on the new arrival!!! I only wish at least one of mine would show up. I will now officially be the last Taylorstock attendee to get my guitar(s) in Jacksonville and possibly Florida? :(

The Enlemann/Ovangkol combination produces a great sound. It is very warm with lots of bass. I love it.

I will try and get some pics up as soon as possible.

It is worth the wait for those of you have not received your guitars, yet. The TS guitars that have already been posted are just amazing.

We are two lucky girls to have such beautiful guitars to play together, eh CB?

Her wood is killer. The sapwood down the center is a great focal point. Can't wait to play them both through the system at chruch and see how they sound!

Today's the day right? can't wait to see pics, my buddy just got a 2002 914ce about a month ago what a sweet guitar, that was the first time I had ever played a 900 series, my dealer doesn't get too may of the high end ones. Good luck Is it coming via the big brown truck or can you pick it up?

Well, I'll let you be the judge of that when we get the pics made (it's been raining here, Jennifer :)) Her wood has a light band in the center that is really cool. Everything radiates off of it. IMHO it was the prettiest set of ovangkol there. Of course I know everyone has their opinion. We will get the pics done asap and you guys can see how 'exotic' this guitar looks.
