The Makaha Sons (and Hoku Zuttermeister) are coming to the East Coast, and I will be opening with a few slack key guitar songs. I am really excited to be on the same stage with these guys! Please tell your friends in MA and NH!

For details and additional tour dates, visit www.makahasons.com.

Andy, I will be there with my wife and friends. Our friends' daughter is Margo Reola. Just had lunch with them after church this past Sunday. You'll be in great company. I'll try to introduce myself on Saturday!

Way to go Andy! Wish I could make it, but it is on the wrong coast.
Hope the gig goes well and you knock 'em dead!

Thanks everyone. Health Freak - look forward to meeting you.

As long as I can keep my heart from jumping out of my chest, I expect to have a great time. What a trip!

What a weekend! Some photos have been posted in the Makaha Sons photo gallery (http://www.makahasons.com/images/photo_galleries/09222007_day3/09222007_east.html). What a blast it was to perform before a nearly sold out crowd. The New Hampshire audience were really awesome - some came from as far as Maine, Connecticut and Canada. Heck, I drove from New Jersey. :) I got to meet Health Freak from this forum.

For those in New York (show tonight); Duquesne, PA; Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, Maryland -- I urge you to go! Hoku Zuttermeister is an incredible vocalist and musician. The Makaha Sons have been at this for 31 years, 22 albums. Great program. For info, go to www.makahasons.com.

+1 to everything Andy said.

Hoku's singing ability is ridiculous! Very tight group and put everyone at ease.

Definitely woth checking them out. I believe they are on iTunes...

Make sure to support Andy if you can; great talent and even better person.
