OK, I know it's not exciting for those of you that go cuckoo for cocobolo but I am the proud new papa of a TaylorStock W65c. I just picked it from BB in Carlsband (no comments Ryan!!) and took it right out of the box myself.

I've been playing for the last half hour and it's horrible because I can't look at the guitar while playing (need to find a big mirror). It sounds great and the setup was just perfect straight from Taylor. Thanks to Bob, Ed, Jonathon, and everyone that made this possible including J.R. and the TGF.

......I'd also like to thank my parents, my wife, and my third grade teacher for inspiring me to play guitar. Also a special thanks to my ninth grade accounting teacher who got me interested in accounting which helped my career decision making process.....oh sorry, wrong speech, that's for my grammy. :)

Congrats. But I can't believe that you are playing it before putting pictures up for the rest of us to drool over! I look forward to seeing pics and maybe a MP3 or two before you accept your grammy! :)

Hey Vito
Happy for you man. I know just from when you picked the wood and from the pics that it's a beauty. We live kinda close to each other...let's get together. Chris and I have done a couple of things and we're gonna get together this weekend.

Thanks everyone! I'll try to get pics over to Chris before I leave for a trip Friday.

Joe- She posed for some pics tonight (the guitar that is) but I need to take some day shots tomorrow. It'll be hard leaving for a week on Friday but I'll survive!

Ryan- Actually played Grey Street first, then for old time sake played Wanted Dead or Alive (Bon Jovi) and finally dropped to D and played Bartender. It sounded great!!! (the guitar not me).

Ian- Love to plan a trip back to my birthplace although I wouldn't have the courage to travel with my guitars.

Ron, it would be great to get together..I would love to see your "factory" and play a Cisco original. However this weekend I'll be in NY watching the Yanke....oops sorry Joe, I guess the Angels are playing this weekend. I'll need to figure out what else I can do in NY besides watching live baseball.

Hey Vito, I think you may be the only one who chose Walnut; would love to see some pics. Better yet, you could venture out to the TGF/SoCal camping trip this weekend...
