October 12th at the Sheldon Concert Hall... :D:D:D

AND I'LL BE THERE!!!!!!! I can't believe I'm actually going to get to see Tommy live, in the flesh, on the same stage where I have stood!

Will anyone else from the forum be there?

OK - J.R. - We can officially shut down St. Louis. They have nothing but beer I guess... no guitar players who are going to see TOmmy E. ;)

I'll be leaving for the airport in about an hour. I've already gotten two calls from work bothering me about stuff I already did. I just HAVE to learn how to shut off this cell phone.

Morning after the night before...

I'm sure I don't need to tell anyone that Tommy was incredible. A singer/song writer named Pam Rose opened for him and did a rather long set because Tommy's flight got cancelled and he had to change airlines, only arriving at the Sheldon Concert Hall 15 minutes before show time. Pam Rose is a great talent who has written well known songs for a lot of well known people.

Tommy came on and did about 2 hours and 3 encores without an intermission. His guitar playing is a matter of record in this forum, but spend the money to go see him if you can because his humor and showmanship really make the show. As one friend said last night, they now believed there was alien life on earth because no one human being could do what Tommy Emmanuel does.
