S. FL AGF Jam III on Sept 15

I'll host the 3rd one of these :guitar:@ my beach condo in Pompano the weekend of Sept. 15th. Exact details TBD, but expect it to be on Saturday- sometime in the early afternoon. We'll go out for a bite around dinner time. Sound good?! Enough notice this time y'all?! :lol: That's about as "plan ahead" as I get.

Depending whether I'm still alive after three straight 20 hour days, I'll be taking the weekend off and try to be there.

Would anyone be interested in coming down here between now and then?

My wife is leaving this Sunday night for North Carolina to stay with our daughter and grandkids while our son-in-law has to travel to California on business. I'll be playing bachelor through the following Sunday.

We could have something here Sunday morning, Sept 2nd, and break up around dinner time when I need to take her to the airport. Depending what time she returns the following week, we could meet here Saturday or Sunday and if on Sunday, quit when I have to go pick her up at the airport. If we did it on Saturday, some of you guys from far away could spend the night if you wanted.

The idea about Monday is something I hadn't thought of. That idea works for me better than Sunday. I need to buy the wife a new car and it's becoming obvious that she isn't going to make up her mind alone, so I'm looking for a way to get it done before she leaves Sunday night.

How is Monday for everyone else?

I know Kendall is a long way from anywhere, (maybe except West Kendall), but the maid comes on Thursday and I need SOMETHING for her to clean up! I expect you guys to help me make a mess!!!

I spoke to the wife about the car/golf/guitar situation last night and if we can get out of here tonight to look at the cars, I'm free and clear the whole weekend.

Labor Day (Mon.) works too... we never do much w/ the summer holidays, usually I just throw something on the grill. Which I do most any day of the week anyways :)

Sorry folks, but compliments of some uncooperative people, I'm totally out for this weekend and Monday. I simply have too much work to do in preparation for the holidays and I'm going in Sunday and Monday to get it done. I can't trust anyone at this point. There's no alternative.

i'm in melbourne fl. but don't know what the weather will be like on any of the dates mentioned.(don't like to travel if it's too hot or raining.) don't know how my dog will be feeling either, so depending on him i may be able to show up somewhere, sometime. i have to wait for an auction on ebay on 9-2-07 so thats definitely out. i'm not working steady right now so i might have a job by then and that would interfere with the jam. maybe everybody could come to my house sometime in sept.(no thats not a good idea, my dog is still a puppy and might jump on you.) well even though i don't believe in horoscopes, i'm going to read mine for the month of september, and will keep all posted on whether it's a good time for me to get together with other guitarists. oh, i forgot to mention i had to pawn my guitar, so i will have to borrow one from one of you guys who has more than one. anybody know the chords to louie, louie?

I appreciate the sentiments, but it just pisses me off. People who were supposed to produce certain projects for me just simply called to say they couldn't... no excuses offered... just couldn't... or wouldn't.

I did have help today and I'm eating lunch at my desk so I can get more done today. We usually close at 1 PM on Friday, but when we are here late on Friday, we still answer the phones. Today, nobody answers and we are plowing through the publishing and tagging that needs to be done.

If you guys decide to go somewhere else Monday and I catch up, I'll do my best to get there. Someone email me so I don't forget to look here.

After working last night until nearly 10 PM at home, I might see some light at the end of the tunnel to do something Monday, but without being able to insure my freedom that day, I wouldn't feel comfortable offering my place until I see how much I get done Sunday.
