Time for another musical interlude...

This time, the James Taylor classic -- "Walking Man"...

"Mama don't understand it
She wants to know where I've been
Have to be some kind of natural-born fool
To wanna walk that road again..."

Just picked it up from my dealer, I thought the guy I usually deal with was gonna be out today but turned out he was in and phoned me the instant it arrived! I was there in ten minutes.

It looks really nice, I love the redwood top, I forget the word that BobT taught us about the reflections in the top wood that are as desirable as tight grain but it has a rearend-load of them. :ha: VERY different look from the red cedar top on my K14c, more 3D.

I've got a BUNCHA photos but my wife has the day off and if I disappear downstairs right now to edit pictures or play it I'm in big trouble. After all in so many ways she is the reason I have the guitar.

I played it in the store a little (I'm embarassed to play in public too much) and it sounds GREAT!

I'm really pleased with the maple binding I picked (redwood top, EI rosewood back and sides, 2002 inlay). It contrasts nicely with the rest of the guitar, they selected very creamy colored maple which I would NOT have chosen but I think looks better than what I would have selected.

Also what wood do y'all get for your TS TRC. Mine is maple which also goes nicely with the binding, etc.

::big grin::

I was trying to be too smart. I took Chris' template and started messing around with it in Word and/or Netscape Composer. It was an unmitigated disaster that wasted 3 hours!!!

Anyway here's my new baby, I'm now going to sign off and spend some time playing it. :)

Tim....
....but...it's....so......uh........PLAIN looking....did you have it DE-ORNAMENTED or something?

Heheheheeeeeee.!!!!!! It's gorgeous Tim. Just knock-out-good-looking!!

The maple binding is super....I had doubts but they've dissipated now. The grain structure of that redwood is astounding. Like the bridge inlay also......I had that same inlay put on my cocobolo bridge....hope it looks as nice.

Anyone else around here gettin ancy?

You mean you don't have some fancy-dancy gadget that you can just point at the screen and have it fix spelling and grammar errors? I thought you liked gadgets! :)
