I knew that I WOOD now! (with apologies to James Brown)

Anyway, I took Mary's spy shots of "my" 810-LTD rotated them, scaled 'em up, lightened and Photoshop-ed 'em enough to get a GLIMPSE of the rest of the back.

And after all that ANGST over the Taylor folks reversing the wood set, I think it's gonna be good -- no great!! Looks like the swirly bits fit nicely into the upper and lower bouts! So I am cool with it! Very artisitic. Love to see a full on shot!

Can't wait to see it after it gets through a session with "Buffy!" AND after that Gothic Vine inlay gets put on!

Good news, Joe! I think it looks great as it is, but it's not my opion that counts. I'm glad you're liking it now. Just be sure not to do that James Brown dance when you're holding the guitar!

Whew ! I'm glad that you feelin' ok Joe. I see what you mean by the two swirl areas still being on the back. On the upper bout area I also can see the swirl grain. And it is a lovely pattern isn't it ? I know you'll love your guitar..

Yeah, I was concerned that the "upper" swirls would be gone, but I shoulda realized that the Custom Shop guys are pros and of course they would do something really beautiful with that set no matter what.
