South Florida Get Together

I think I promised to try and put this together earlier, but I just couldn't squeeze it in before my trip to Israel. Anybody up for coming over my house for a get together? I live in Hollywood. I'd like to do it Sun evening (but that might be too short notice) - let me know. Otherwise, we could do a weeknight.

I haven't played for almost 3 weeks - I'm jonesin' to do this. :)

I've been hoping to meet some people to get together with and play some songs. I have traded a couple of emails with another local guy but we haven't made it happen yet. Sunday isn't going to work out for me but since we're neighbors and all we should be able to meet up soon, perhaps at my favorite guitar hang out - Glades Guitars right here in Hollywood.

I'm back from the OBX, but had a family medical emergency that had me in NJ until Weds. nite. Just getting back to reality here in S. FL. I'll do the jam on Sunday, and would also prefer earlier than later in the evening. Rob- I PM'd you for directions/time/ and tel. #. See y'all on Sunday. I'll bring my "new" Guild 12 and the 814 L10 too!

Rob P. had about 6 pickers (incl. his son) over for 5 hours on Sunday. Everyone had a blast and there were pictures taken (although I dont know if they'll be posted). We promised to get together again soon here in S. FL for any local AGF'ers (or other traveling minstrals) who would like to join in the jam. Stay tuned ....and in tune all!

Absolutely Sharky - it was great!! We'll do it again. It wasn't my camera, but I'll get the pictures and post them as soon as I can.

Any chance you found an extra pair of sunglasses laying around after the dust settled? I seem to have misplaced mine.... gunmetal frame, gray tortise temples.... ? Sunglasses are gonna be my financial downfall, I lose em all the time :mad:

Yep, I found them. Sorry I didn't know they were yours. I thought they belonged to somebody else. Let me know if you'll be swinging down this way. I don't have any plans to go up your way anytime soon... sorry.

Or... you can squint until we get together again. Good motivation for us to do it sooner rather than later.

& yes, sooner rather than later... Actually I was down your way Wed & Thur, but I hadn't quite finished sleuthing where the dang sunglasses had gotten to. It's not so much losing them, as it's the creeping sense I'm losing it and unable to keep track of my stuff anymore :eek: :ha:

Hold on to em for now; I'll jingle ya when it looks like I'll be down your ways... I have work regularly in FtL, and my backup pair in the meantime :)

BTW Strat- Not only the Intellitouch, but also that funky plastic capo and one of those crazy triangular Fender thin pics!!! Rest assured all are A-OK and awaiting their return to their rightful owner.
