But the dern thing was dingd! Thanks to Steve for noticing it before it got in my hands! So I guess I will have to wait a while!

Are you serious? How bad? We are all so excited, but to get that news. I think you are handling it better than I would.
Hope it gets fixed quickly.

Oh man, that bites! I'm sure Taylor will fix it good as new, but the waiting's hard enough without repairs. I hope you get it soon.

Steve was looking it over (per Steve), making sure it was just perfect, and what-a-you-know, a very small ding in the headstock - bout the size of 1/2 of a pin head. But, it should be perfect, so they (Taylor) are going to take care of it. Then when I get it, I can put my own first ding in it.

Well, it can't be that bad...because they can just change the whole neck! (NT NECK) should be a same day change or 20 minutes. New neck in hand, take off strings, remove neck, relace neck, check angle and adjust as needed and restring...done.

Rob, how could you possibly let this beauty go back to Taylor?? :) That is seriously one of the best sets of Cocobolo I've seen!

When I first saw the ding, I thought it was a minute finish bubble. Alas, though, it was not. Extraordinarily minor? Yes. Still, Rob should have the honor of putting the first ding in that baby...
