My Taylor 854C-LTD is shipping today!!!! The only 12-string Ziricote GA ever made (probably the only 12-string Ziricote ever made). This guitar should arrive by next wednesday (I hope!).
Here's the specs again:
854C-LTD, PURRRRRFECT Engelmann spruce top, Mexican Ziricote back and sides, K-series inlay on fretboard, torch on headstock, polished ebony headstock overlay, flamed maple binding on body neck and headstock, flamed maple truss rod cover, gold hardware with Ebony tuner buttons, clear pickguard.
Steve says it's in the top three most gorgeous guitars he's ever seen. SWEEET SWEEEET SWEEEEEEET! Can't wait for it to get here! (Dancing around my office right now... woooooo hoooooo!)

Because of the weekend, 2-day express would only buy me a day or so. Overnight shipping was pretty cost prohibitive on a box this size. I'd definitely upgrade to 2-day if today was Wednesday! :)

Well I am so sorry you are having to wait. Steve had mine sent overnight for only 46.00 with DHL. It left San Diego at 6PM and arrived here around 11:30 AM Jacksonville time. I thought that was worth every penny to get it here that quickly.
I was very happy with DHL's service.

I agree, DHL did a great job with the shipping. When I received mine I looked over the box very carefully when he brought to the house and there wasn't even a small dent in the packaging. The gentleman was very patient with me and was very pleased to bring something that I was so looking forward to. Thanks again Steve.

And the headstock adorned with the "torch" inlay. NICE! Ever seen the ebony mini-tuner buttons on a 12-string before?

Also, the TRC is flamed maple, though you can't tell from the picture. I'll be sure to post more pics when I get the guitar. According to the tracking number, it should arrive on Thursday.
BTW: No dancing pics today... Maybe tomorrow. :lol:

And the hits just keep on coming! JW, that is outstanding, and I can only begin to imagine what it sounds like. It looks like you struck the freakin' motherlode. Did you get that TRC as a special favor, or did you simply ask for it? I love the way it looks!
P.S. I love all of this, but I'm running out of adjectives. :)
