Well, I've just taken the time to view the wood sets in the Taylor Photos section in the TaylorStock registry and WHOA!!!!! there is Rick's wood with he and Uncle Bob. That wood is so awesome and the specs are awesome also (torch inlay on back, nice touch). I can't wait to see this guitar at the NC workshop!!
Great Selection Rick!!
Agreed, it is stunning!
Guess that's why you're selling those 2 beauties on Ebay, eh Rick? You have the most gorgeous ads on there, made me want to buy them!

Well....thanks very much Brad.....
......I hope it's ready in time for the workshop also......
There were some *killer* Cocobolo sets to choose from, so there'll be a few to be shown off around this forum for sure. These TS guitars in general have just *got* to be some of the absolute 'cream of the crop' to ever come out of that shop. I'm sure those staff members are just as proud to be making those are we are to be receiving them.
One mistake in the description of my Cocobolo TS though.....it will have Koa binding and not Maple. I don't think I specified in my note to J.R., and he may have just assumed Maple....but dark flamey Koa should be the binding material.
The Cindy torch on the back side. Yes... a little added touch there. Wasn't cheap though....but worth it to me to have it my way. Speaking of not cheap.....man...I sure hope that Master Grade Fiddleback Neck *looks* like it cost $.... wwwooopppppsss.... can't type that here. :)
In hindsight, and looking back at the photos and, having seen some of the photos of the TS rigs in progress, I sure wish I'd given some thought to some of that purrttty colored purfling. But, I know I'm gonna love my custom creation.
Just went and looked at the photo again myself....I sure look old and weary there (gee...maybe I am..). It *had* been a long two days though, and this was shot *late* Saturday night.
Later....
Rick

Yes.....that's the idea.....Buy!!
....'the herd shall be thinned' ... Actually I'm into some fairly major horse-trading now.......even dabbling with some that I really should not be dabbling with at the moment. But it'll all pan out in the end. I do think the TS customs will have a calming, pacifying effect on me. Seriously.
I'm keeping my personal favorite Cocobolo 714Ltd right up until the last minute until the new TS Coco get's here. I'll still have a hard time letting it go though. Maybe if I give it to my wife.....hmmmmm....yeah....that's it.
Nothing like geetar justification.

**** Rick that stuff is beyond words...
I would have had to have some of that as well. And my wife really would kill me.
See, it's all Rick's fault...again.
