My son Gordy, an improv comedy whiz at Columbia College, will be part of the a six-week Friday night run of the "Steve's Friends" sketch/improv comedy troupe's show! They need at least 5 attendees per Friday to be allowed to keep running, and 10 to break even, so give some really funny kids (tomorrow's SNL and MadTV stars) a break!

"Welcome to the Hotel Stale Ammonia," by Steve's Friends
Donny's Skybox Theater, top floor of Piper's Alley, North Ave, & Wells St., Chicago.
Midnight Fridays from 7/13 to (we hope!) 8/10.
$10 non-students (there is a student discount)

Gordy's put together a helluva resume so far: he's trained everywhere from the Piven Theatre Workshop (incl. Young People's Co.) to Improv Olympic (the only teen to study in and graduate from the professional adult program) to Second City's inaugural Collegiate Comedy Workshop. His Columbia improv team, "Droppin' Science," represented the Midwest last year at the National Collegiate Improv Festival at Georgetown U.---and WON!

Make this mom even prouder and give these kids a career boost...while you laugh yourselves into a frenzy!

You should be a very proud mama. I wish the show is sold out every day. :)

What, no hammered dulcimer? Just kidding. Tell him to break a leg or good show whichever his superstitions allow.

Well, the cast will probably get hammered afterward, but not a dulcimer in sight.
