I would love to go . but 2000 miles is just to far to travel for me . Some one should have a similar event in the Chicagoland area .

I'll be presenting a slack key workshop and doing a couple of mini concerts.

I plan on being there 3 days (Fri-Sat-Sun). My brother will be demo-ing some builder's guitars. Me? I'll be looking for that elusive left-handed model somewhere amongst the several hundred 'backwards' models. :D

Tickets are on sale at the door also. They're only a couple of $$ more, in case you can't commit ahead of time. That will be the case for me, just in case I do make it up there during one of the craziest summers of my life. ;)

Lodging at the last minute might be another issue though.

I spoke with Rob Bustos at Paragon Guitars at length last night, and he assured me my OM will be ready for delivery at HGF. Needless to say, I'm excited. :D Please come by the Paragon booth and introduce yourself, and give my new baby a spin.

Hi SongMan...
In 2005 Muriel Anderson's workshop sold out so they added an additional one by her. The workshops are limited to the seating in the rooms so unless they moved them, they can handle around 30-35 people each.

They may not sell out, but it sure does get crowded. ;)

I will be going. I signed up several months ago for three workshops. Got lodging. Got plane tickets. I am looking forward to meeting several of the regulars to this Board. Somewhere someone had the idea we need to wear something like a button or sash to distinguish the forum members from others. I am open to suggestions.

...a small purple ribbon with "acoustic guitar forum"embroidered on rhe surface? a diaper pin with a guitar on it?....a blue wristband with "AGF Forever"?

Is it too late to get a vendor's license?...may be on to something here!

At HGF '05 we had logo buttons made prior to the show from Acoustic Player Magazine. We had various luthiers give them out at their booths. :)

I was only kidding, John. No offense intended.

I'm sure it's going to be amazing when it's out of the finish booth :)
