JR,

Your 854 ziricote is INCREDIBLE, and Darrell Wong must be beside himself right now.

Has anyone actually recieved their guitar yet? If Taylor is to the point that the cocobolos are ready for manufacture then a decent number of the other guitars are probably finished, Any news? Anyone?

To say I'm just a bit impatient would be an understatement.

I haven't heard anything about mine yet. I was all cool about this until last night, then I started feeling like I WANT MY 414!!!

J.R. THAT is one gorgeous piece of ziricote!!!

I figure with the latest pictures showing gloss guitars and their labels, the satin ones have to be done by now, but there's no news yet about my guitar. I checked my email and phone machine at least 10 times yesterday while at work, but they were silent on the subject. I want my 355c-LTD!

JR, ditto about that ziricote. I think you might just have the prettiest of them all.

J.R., you're a regular Jan Murray. :)

I wonder, though -- would that make her Buffy the Jumbo Slayer?

Oh boy  o boy  o boy  o boy  ! That's my 810 LTD ("A mystery..."). At least I think it is. On the right side there are some waves that look exactly like my pictures! That means I'm only a couple of weeks away! Now I'm not going to be able to accomplish anything!

I told you I wasn't gonna be able to accomplish anything. Check out this link. (http://www.robwing.com/compare.html) . Is it mine? What do you think? The only difference seems to be the color of the wood, the "Mystery" guitar seems to be more yellow, and mine is more red. Is that just do to the sanding of the wood? (Yes I know I'm obsessing). Anyway, J.R., Your's looks nice too, as all of them. I'm just kinda partial about mine. I just can't stand the waiting!:(

Rob
I think it looks like that is yours. If you look at the two places you have pointed out with arrows and look at the dark grain near them, this back seems to have the same markings. If it isn't yours I'd say yours has a twin.
Isn't this anticipation painful??? :D

I'm not sure, but I think that last picture is a maple 310. There's one spot on the upper bout where there's no tape, and the wood looks too light for satinwood. Besides, I thought the two satinwood guitars ordered were both GAs with Engelmann tops. Did anyone order a 310-LTD?

Rob....
...I think that one is definitely yours...

The clincher for me is the light stripe in the middle triangular piece.....it's identical.....

Yep! That definitely looks like your guitar. The center piece has a light streak that runs up the left of that piece. I can see maybe the sides having a brother or two, but the wedge in the middle makes it unique. Congrats! Looks like they're in the final stages of building that guitar. It's probably getting it's binding today (if it wasn't done yesterday) and then off for finishing and final assembly. Weeeeee! You've got to take a final picture of that beauty when it arrives.

My son Andrew (Anj) ordered a 310 limited. Maybe that's his. I know that Taylor was very gracious in letting him have wood that was of much higher graded than typical 300 level. I believe the top was from the 700-800 stack, and they said the maple was 600 level quality. They're awesome folks.

OK, if this is Rob's guitar in the final stages...
WHERE IS MY 414???

Did you guys pay Taylor to hold ours up until yours were done???
ARRGHHH....

Steve, O Steve, When will you call me? I'm not anxious, nope, not me :D

Lisa, I will if you will. :) And then there will be a cartoon-like streak of smoke heading down the freeway to San Diego. :D

Rob, it looks like the grain structures are the same, the color difference is ENTIRELY a matter of the white balance of the camera or image scan. Not to worry, but the reddish shots look overly magenta and the yellow shot looks overly yellow.

Oh, don't worry Chris, I will :)
Wish I could pick mine up but unfortunately Jacksonville is on the other coast.

I'm sure yours is on it's way Lisa, I had already accepted mine being one of the last, but this a great surprise. Yours might even be done by now. I wonder if mine will make it for Sunday the 6th? I guess that would requre a miracle or somthing. Still, I can hope can't I (now I'm really obsessing).

She's actually fine with it - well, after the tennis bracelet, and the vacation for our anaversary, and ....

Did I get the raw end of this deal?

I'm sure yours is on it's way Lisa

I don't know, I'm beginning to wonder if they are just working a little on all the models and then they will be ready in larger batches. (I don't know if that made sense.)\

I sew, and sometimes if I am making more than one thing I will work on all of the items with similiar construction steps at the same time rather than going start-to-finish on item A and then start-to-finish on item B. It saves time in the long run to do things that way when you're sewing, now I don't know if that principle would apply to making guitars but it seems like it would.

Cut to the chase...if that is true Cynbrad, Chris and all the other 300-400 series folks could be waiting awhile longer. OK, I am fine I can wait...

Any chance that someone has seen in production an 814c redwood with EI rosewood? Maybe just a little peek? Go ahead a lie if you must.:(
